Andrew Roshawn Thompson,15, of Jesup, Ga. passed away on December 02, 2022 at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, Ga. following a lengthy illness. He was born on September 18, 2007 to Tenisha Thompson and Keeron Cooper in Wayne County, Ga. Andrew was a 9th grader in the Wayne County public school system where he enjoyed school and spending time with his friends. His hobbies included watching his favorite television shows and playing video games. Andrew was a bright child and lived his life to the fullest, always seeing the brighter side of every situation that confronted him. Whenever you saw him, he would always greet you with a smile and never complained.

Andrew was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bernice Thompson, Larry James and Debra Cooper, as well as an uncle, Amir Thompson.

Those left to cherish his memories: his parents, Tenisha Thompson and Keeron Cooper, both of Jesup, Ga.; four sisters, Essance, Jayda, Fayth and Kamirah, all of Jesup, Ga.; one brother, Rahmir Wilson of Jersey City, NJ; his great grandparents, William Cooper (Gwendolyn), Jersey City, NJ; two aunts, Inayah Thompson of Jersey City, NJ and Daaiyah Cooper of Baltimore, Md; two great aunts, Imogene Thompson and Angela Cooper of Jersey City, NJ and a host of other family members and friends that will miss him immensely.

There will be a viewing from 12 Noon until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Royal Funeral Home Chapel, 247 W. Pine Street, Jesup, Ga. 31545.

An intimate family service will begin @ 2:00 p.m., followed by cremation.
