Obituary for Angeline Bymon (Smart)
Angeline Emily Bymon, 64, of Walthourville, GA passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023 at Memorial Health in Savannah, GA following a lengthy illness. She was born on September 06, 1958 in Jacksonville, FL to the late, Forrest Smart and Mamie Boyd Nelson. She was employed as a CNA in the nursing homes in Jesup, Ludowici and throughout Hinesville area.
Angeline was preceded In death by both parents, Forrest Smart and Mamie Boyd Nelson; her husband, Robert Lee Bymon; two brothers, John Wesley Hill, Jr. and Edward Nathaniel Blake.
She leaves to cherish her memory: three loving and devoted children, Danielle Travet, Hinesville, GA, Andrea (Timothy) Jackson, Fayetteville, NC and Cheryl Grant, Ludowici, GA; seven grandchildren, Kaina Danielle Travet, Tristan Choicey Travet, Tremaine Porter, Daunye Williams, Callie, Willie and Celest Thomas; Robert Nelson, Sr., who helped to raise her and was like a father; four brothers, Theron (Mae) Hill, Miami FL, Choicey Blake, Jacksonville, FL, Forrest (Adrian) Smart, Walthourville, GA and Robert (Brenda) Nelson, Jr., Hinesville, GA; five sisters, Patricia Green, Walthourville, GA, Joyce (Leon) Carter, Walthourville, GA, Jacque (Louie) Abner, Ocala, FL, a close sister, Lynnette Nelson Donovan, Walthourville, GA and a baby sister, Roberta Nelson Peden, Hinesville GA; a very special niece, Rebie (Re-Bob) Nelson, Hinesville, GA, two special nephews, West Dale Hill, Jonesboro, GA and Dupree Green II, Hinesville, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A viewing will be held on Friday, June 02, 2023 from 5-7 pm at Royal Funeral Home Chapel, 247 W. Pine St., Jesup, GA 31545.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 03, 2023 @ 11:00 am at Friendship Baptist Church, 1002 Talmedge Road, Walthourville, GA 31333.
Remains will lie in state one hour prior to services at the chapel from 10:00 am until the time of service.
