Obituary for Annie Randolph (Gamble)

The lives of James Gamble, Sr. and Corean Baldwin Gamble were blessed on December 25, 1940 with the birth of their daughter, Annie Grace. She was born in Flatwood, Alabama.

She received her primary education in Marengo County, Alabama public school system. Upon meeting and marrying the love of her life, Grover Randolph, Sr. in November of 1959 she relocated to Broadhurst and later to Jesup, Ga. where she remained until her passing.

She was a dedicated member of Greater Morris Chapel Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithfully as a Deaconess, on the Usher Board, and on the Finance Committee. Faith in Christ and serving Him, was extremely important to Annie Grace. She worked diligently to pass faith in Christ to her children and grandchildren. In life’s toughest moments, Annie Grace was quick to remind you that, “Job was a patient man”, referencing James 5:11 KJV.

Mrs. Annie Grace worked as a seamstress at Wayne Sportswear. She will forever be remembered for being a wise, spunky and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
