Sis. Arthur Mae Boston was born on March 17, 1936 to the late, Minnie Voyette and Sam Blount in Brunswick, Ga. She attended Risley Elementary School and later moved to Patterson, Ga. where she attended Lee Street High School in Blackshear, Ga. Arthur Mae was a devoted wife to the late, Shafter Boston for 50 years and to this union three children were born, one son and two daughters.

She was employed at Manhattan Shirt Factory and Parks Manufacturing for many years. Sis. Boston was baptized in Jesus name and received the gift of the Holy Ghost under the leadership of the late, Mother Jonathan Green. At St. James Church, she embraced the Apostolic Doctrine and grew in wisdom and knowledge of God. Her commitment to God was complete and encompassed every aspect of her life. Her husband and children were baptized and accepted Christ as well. Sis. Boston took great joy serving as a Sunday School Superintendent, teacher and altar worker. She was concerned about the souls of others, which led her to start a nursing home ministry with the late Sis. Jeanette Hillmon. After the passing of Sis.
