Mr. Arthur Samuel Curry, 73, of Jesup, Ga. passed away following a lengthy illness on July 05, 2023 at Candler's Select Specialty Hospital in Savannah, Ga. He was born on March 07, 1950 to the late, Adolphus Curry and Georgia Mae Hall Curry in Jesup, Ga. Arthur received his education in Wayne County Training School and later furthered his education to become a Master Barber. He joined the United States Army on September 5, 1969, and served his country well for (13) years. Soon after he then became a Correction Officer at the Federal Correctional Institution in Jesup, Ga. from which he retired.

Arthur enjoyed watching Westerns, fishing and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by both parents, Adolphus and Georgia Mae Curry and a brother, Daniel Curry,

Those left to cherish his memory: his loving children. Arleshia and Emily Curry, both of Jesup, Ga., Arthur J. Curry (Deondra). Atlanta, Ga. and Cecil Curry of Jesup, Ga.; one sister, Dorothy Curry, Jesup, Ga.; two brothers, Henry (Sharita) Curry and Albert Curry, both of Brunswick, Ga.; six grandchildren, Arthur C. Curry, Atlanta, Ga., Shania Curry, Keleshia Poole, Sadiq Curry, Aden and Carson Barnhill, all of Jesup, Ga. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.

There will not be a service. A private disposition will be held.
