Obituary for Arthur Webb

Arthur Nathaniel Webb was born on May 23, 1944 to the late Deacon Jesse, Sr. and Deaconess Susie M. Webb in Nassau County, Fl. He graduated from Pine Forest High in Callahan, Florida in 1961. He was a member and ordained Deacon of Mt. Charity Baptist Church, where he served faithfully throughout his illness. His employment history included working at Container and with Anheuser Busch in Jacksonville, Florida for 32 years before retiring, due to illness.

Arthur was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was known as the caregiver of his community. His favorite pass time was fishing and spending time with his family

Deacon Webb passed away on November 2, 2020 at the Southeast Georgia Healthcare System Camden Campus. He was preceded in death by both parents, Deacon Jesse and Deaconess Susie M. Webb; his sister, Beatrice Donley and his brother, Jessie Webb Jr.

He leaves to mourn, a devoted, loving wife and friend, Deaconess Jannie Mae Webb, Folkston, Georgia; three daughters, Felicia Washington, Jacksonville, Florida, Catrina (Robert) Graham, Jacksonville, Florida and Wanda (Nathaniel) Redmon of Kingsland, Georgia.; one son, Terrance Webb of Folkston, Georgia. He shared a special bond with his loving sister, Leola Coachman; his sisters-in-law; Cuzelda Taylor, Diane Smiley, Mahala (Gifford) Whitaker; his brothers-in-law, Henry Taylor, Henry James (Sintoria) McMillian; 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 07, 2020 @ 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Charity Baptist Church Cemetery, US 1 Hwy, Hilliard, Fl. 32046
