Asmar Tariq Walker, 39, a resident of Folkston, Ga. passed away on Friday, March 01, 2024 at Baptist Hospital Downtown Jacksonville, Fl. Asmar, affectionately known as “BOOBIE” was born on August 6,1984 in Newark, New Jersey to Sharon Whitlock-Bey and the late, Lionel Walker, Jr. Asmar, along with his devoted fiancé, Courtney Glover, was the proud father of three sons, Shamar, KyRiq and Kamden. Asmar also had three brothers, Lionel, Tyrell and Joshua and one sister, Ayona Bey.

Asmar was a dedicated extra hard worker. He worked two jobs while taking dialysis three days a week for years. He received a degree in welding and one in pipe fitting from Tulsa Welding College. He was a sweet, loving, respectful, considerate, compassionate beautiful soul, that will be greatly missed by his friends, coworkers & entire family. “Boobie” you have gained your wings, and you can finally rest in peace.

There will not be a wake/visitation. Remains will lie in state one hour (from 2-3pm) at the church on the day of the service.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024 @ 3:00 pm at the House of Faith Church, Paxton Rd., Folkston, Ga. Bishop Willie Moore, Pastor.

Services will be followed by a Private Disposition.
