Obituary for Bill Fosten

Bill C. Fosten was born on June 02, 1938, to the late Jeff and Gladys Fosten in Anderson, SC. He was educated in the public schools of Anderson County, S.C. and he held many jobs before becoming an entrepreneur, owning his own taxi cab business for many years after relocating to Philadelphia, Pa. He didn’t need a Global Positioning System (GPS), because he was one himself and loved to travel. He traveled to many states and had a great love for his family and a great appreciation for good food.

Bill was joined in holy matrimony to Cordelia Roberts on November 09, 1957, and to this union, five children were born, Darlene, Linda, Joe Ann, Teresa and Michael.

On July 23, 2019, our Heavenly Father called our father, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend home to be with the Lord. He was preceded in death by both parents, and a brother, George Fosten.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his four daughters, Darlene Fosten, Forest Park, Ga., Linda Bright, College Park, Ga., Joe Ann Fosten-Givan, Stone Mountain, Ga., and Teresa Johnson of Lithonia, Ga.; one loving son, Michael Fosten, Forest Park, Ga.; nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren; two brothers, David (Kim) Fosten, Philadelphia, Pa., Clyde Fosten, Lake City, Fl.; eight sisters, Rebecca Powell, Philadelphia, Pa., Betty Murphy, Lake City, Fl., Elder Alice Grant, Screven, Ga., Louise Fosten, St. Petersburg, Fl., Barbara (Evangelist Matthew) Grant, Screven, Ga., Evangelist Alberta (Minister Jerry) Bryant, Jesup, Ga., Doris (Minister Don) Vail, Screven, Ga., Rose (Bro.
