Billy Tarver, 60, a resident of Jesup Ga. passed away on Wednesday, June 01, 2022 at Memorial Hospital in Savannah, Ga. following a lengthy illness. Billy was born on August 29, 1961 to the late, Hollis Tarver and Essie Mae Williams-Tarver in Twin City, Ga. He was well known in the community for being a kind and helpful individual, willing to help anyone in need. He spent the last twenty odd years as a resident of Wayne County where most of his jobs entailed cooking, with the last being at Jones Kitchen. His hobbies included fishing, gardening and hanging out with his friends. Billy was loved by so many in the community and will forever be remembered for his many kind deeds.

Billy was preceded in death by both parents, Hollis and Essie Mae Tarver; his sisters, Ida Mae Tarver and Annie Mae Tarver; his brothers, Ivory and Jessie Tarver and Solomon Williams. Billy had no biological children.

He leaves to cherish his memory: a sister, Johnnie Mae Tarver-Brown and three brothers, Bobby (Shirley) Tarver, Charlie (Martha) Tarver and Marvin Tarver; and a loving and devoted niece, Angela McClendon.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2022, @ 4:00 p.m. at Royal Funeral Home Chapel, 247 W. Pine Street, Jesup, GA 31598.
