Brandon Ramon Brown, 29, of Jesup, Ga., passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 13, 2020, at his residence. He was born on August 2, 1990, to Audrey Brown and his fathers,Terry Brown and Landus Nixon, Sr., in Jesup, Ga. Brandon was educated in the public school system of Wayne County and graduated from Bradwell Institute, in the Class of 2007. He was a member of Preparing the Way of the Lord Church, under the leadership of Apostle Gossipya Shinalt, in Glennville, Ga. He was recently hired on with Blackhawk, as a truck driver. He was such a warm and gentle man, who touched so many lives during his short, but much fullfilled life span. He enjoyed music and was an avid fan of the Seattle Seahawks Football team. Brandon was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Sarah Ketchup, and David Nixon, Sr., his aunts, Jill Hayes and Delores Nixon.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his loving mother, Audrey Brown, Jesup, Ga.; his fathers, Terry Brown (Delores), and Landus Nixon, Sr., both of Jesup, Ga.; his siblings, Destiny Brown, Hinesville, Ga., Nassacha Nixon, Seattle, Wa., Darius and Landus Nixon, Jr., both of Jacksonville, Fl.; Jasmin and Jumara Nixon, both of Jesup, Ga.; his grandparents, Bonnie Miles, Birmingham, Al.; William and Teresa Johnson, Clarkesville, Tn., and Leona Nixon, Jesup, Ga.; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, who loved him and will miss him dearly.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2020, @ 11:00 a.m. at St. Simons Island Pier, 100 Mallery Street, St. Simons Island, Ga. 31522
Although, the ceremony will not be held on our premises, the family ask that you still observe and abide by the 6ft. rule of social distancing yourselves, as well as, wearing your face masks to protect against the Covide -19 virus.
