Calandra Alicia Wingard Clark, known to those who loved her as "Gidget", was born on September 16, 1969 in Jesup, GA to Donald Wingard and the late, Carolyn Jean Wingard. Gidget was a beautiful, intelligent, creative and very outgoing person. She enjoyed cooking and baking, but nothing topped the beautiful moments she shared with her 14 grandchildren.

On December 2, 2021, Gidget, surrounded by her loving children, Tiffany S. Jones, Tacari R. Clark, Tanzania B. Clark, and Taja S. Clark, transitioned to join her mother, Carolyn J. Wingard and her younger brother, Abdul J. Wingard. She was also greeted at heaven's gates by her grandparents, Jerry and Betty Turner, Evelyn Jones and Robert Wingard.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her father, Donald Wingard; siblings, Laverne C. Walker and Donte A. Wingard; maternal grandmother, Lettie Drummer; 14 beautiful grandchildren, PFC Zameria K. Wingard, Zyun K. Wingard, Zuhria K. Wingard, Zataivia K. Wingard, Makirah A. Jones, Angel N. Dorsey, Trinity M. Dorsey, Devon Z. Cousin, Quaniah N. Dorsey, Tristian E. Clark, Brandon T. Clark, Kingston P. Veale, Myla J. Clark, Legend C. Clark; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many sorrowing relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

There will not be a viewing/visitation.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021 @ 11 a.m. at Sunset Oaks Memorial Cemetery, 1579 Sunset Blvd., Jesup, Ga.

Everyone planning to attend services are asked to wear your mask to prevent the spread of Covid 19.
