Obituary for Charlie Jackson Sr.

Charlie Jackson, Sr., 66, of Ludowici, Ga. passed away on October 21, 2021 at Memorial Health Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was born on July 06, 1955 to the late, Major Jackson, Sr. and Margaret Black-Jackson in Hinesville, Ga. He was educated in the public school system of Long County and worked most of his life as a mechanic and an all around jack-of-trades. Charlie enjoyed fixing anything on a mechanical level, riding his bike and spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered for being an all around handyman.

He leaves to cherish his memories: two children, Patricia Jackson (Ronald) Miles, Jr. and Charles Jackson, Jr.; two siblings, Lizzie Scott and Alice (Marion) Harden; his grandchildren, Makya Caswell, Ronniyah Miles, Area Perry, Haven Miles, Khyreon Jackson, Tashawn Jackson, LaTerrius Moore, Charles Jackson Bletzer, Jr., Niklaus Jackson and Laylannie Bletzer; a great grandchild, Ambriah Caswell, as well as, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss him dearly.

His final disposition will be by means of cremation.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021 (with no viewing) at Royal Funeral Home Chapel, @ 11:00 a.m. October 30, 2021 at 247 West Pine Street, Jesup, Ga. 31545
