Claretha Noble-Taylor, 81, of Folkston, Ga. passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020, at the Life Care Center of Hilliard, Fl. She was born on October 8, 1938, to the late, Sterling and Effie Boyd-Noble in Newell, Ga. Claretha was educated in the public schools of Charlton County and grew up as a member of St. Matthews Baptist Church. She worked many years in housekeeping at Charlton County Hospital and some private sitting for the Mizells. "Ms. Claretha", as so many people in the community knew her for the kind, loving, nuturing person that she was. She cared for both of her parents until their demise, her daughter, Elizabeth, and raised her grandchildren, who many times, refer to her as "moma". She was truly a caretaker of her family and will always be remembered for all of her kind deeds. Ms. Claretha enjoyed sewing, cooking and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by both parents; her husband, Willie B. Taylor; her daughter, Deborah Lynn Taylor-Scott; her sisters, Josephine Mitchell and Juanita Thomas, and her brother, Lawrence "Bo Pete" Noble.

Those left to cherish her memories: her sons, Eld. Alvin Glynn Taylor, Waycross, Ga. and a step son, Collaus (Brenda) Taylor of Waycross, Ga.; her daughter, Elizabeth Taylor, Hilliard, Fl.; her sisters, Christine Harris, Lakeland, Fl., Ethel Whitfield, Jacksonville, Fl. and Earnestine Noble of Vero Beach, Fl.; two brothers, Wallace and Howard Noble, both of Folkston, Ga.; her son in law, Louis V. Scott, Sr., Chesapeake, Va.; her loving grandchildren, Shaunda Taylor, Gregory Taylor, Keisha Taylor, Louis Valentino Scott, Jr. "T.J." and Carlos Smith; her great grandchildren, Malik Thompson, Nyzik Paige, Gabriella Smith, Giselle Smith, MacKenzie, Morgan and Macie Musiwa and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
