Connor Davis Mathis passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. He was born March 13, 2007 in Brunswick, Georgia to Carla and Kelly Mathis. Connor and his family are members of Bennett Union Missionary Baptist Church in Jesup, Georgia. Connor was a rising 11th grader at Glynn Academy High School in Brunswick, Georgia and will be sorely missed by his family and everyone that knew him.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his parents, Carla and Kelly Mathis of Brunswick, Georgia; his siblings, Devon Mathis (Allison) of Forest Park Georgia, Kellen Mathis of Brunswick, Georgia; his maternal grandparents, Clifford and Carletha Davis of Jesup, Georgia; his parternal grandparents, Leroy and Laura Dumas of Brunswick, Georgia; his godparents, Daphne Harden of Jacksonville, Florida, Barbara Dawson of Jonesboro, Georgia and Claudia Flowers of Jesup, Georgia; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

There will Not be a visitation, however, his remains will lie in state (1) hour (11 am until 12 noon) prior to services on Saturday.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 03, 2023 @ 12:00 noon, at First Baptist Church of Brunswick, 708 Mansfield Street, Brunswick, Georgia 31520
