Obituary for David "Buster Crab" Wright Jr.

David Lamar Wright, Jr. (Buster Crab), 62, of Jesup, Georgia was born on December 19, 1959 to the late, David Wright, Sr. and Martha L. Brown. David was educated in the Wayne County School System and was employed at Great Southern Wood and Altamaha Cabinet Shop. David was very family oriented. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and going fishing. He was considered the life of the party by many.

On August 19, 2022, “David Buster”, as we called him, was called home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeraldine, both parents, two brothers and stepmother.

David leaves to mourn his memory: his daughters, Pamela Michelle Fullmore, Jesup, Georgia, Shalonda Tippins, Shonda Tippins and Latina Tippins all of Jesup, Georgia; his brothers, Otis (Pearline)Brown, Willie Lee Brown, both of Jesup, Georgia, Larry (Teresa) Wright, Screven, Georgia, Dewayne Wright, Orlando, Florida; his brothers in-law, Greg Howard, Dexter (Angela) Howard, Terry Howard and Gary Howard, all of Jesup, Georgia; his sisters, Lillian (Bennie)Johnson, Rockingham, North Carolina, Janice Brown, Lesia Darden, Celeste Chancey all of Jesup, Georgia, Renay (Hugh) Grant, Pamela Wright, Orlando, Florida, Sharon Boone, Jesup, Georgia; his sisters in-law, Felicia Howard and Alma Jean Howard; his mother in-law, Corine Howard; a close friend, Cynthia Roby, Eudora, Mississippi; (19) grandchildren, (6) great grandchildren; other special friends, Richard Harris, Lamar Wilson, Antonio Spears and Samuel Hopkins; a special niece, Dr. Felicia Hayes; and host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly .

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022 @ 3:00 p.m. at Unity Church Of God, 1580 S. Sunset Blvd., Jesup, Ga. 31545. Services will be followed by cremation.

There will NOT be a wake/visitation on Friday. A viewing will be held 1 hour prior to services, from 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, at Unity Church Of God.
