Obituary for Deloris Butler (Williams)

Deloris Mae Butler, 79, of White Oak, Ga., passed away on November 21, 2019, at Southeast Georgia Health System, Camden Campus. She was born on March 24, 1940, in White Oak, Ga., to the late Theodore and LouVessie Cohen-Williams. Deloris was a member of Jerusalem # 1 Baptist Church in White Oak, Ga., and was employed at Thiokol, as lead line person.

Deloris was preceded in death by both parents, Theodore and LouVessie Williams; a brother, Theodore Williams, Jr., and two sisters, Ida and Ophinell Williams.

She leaves to mourn her passing: a loving husband of 61 years, Onie Lee Butler, Jr.; her children, Alvin ( Alice) Butler, Woodbine, Ga., Roy Lee ( Pam) Butler, Jr., White Oak, Ga., Marvin ( Larry) White, Sr., Charles L. Butler and Jenean Baker, both of White Oak, Ga.; two sisters, Loretta Kight, Woodbine, Ga., and Carolyn Cohen of White Oak, Ga.; five brothers, David (Sanae H.) Williams, White Oak, Ga., Lucious (Keisha) Williams, Folkston, Ga., Lawrence ( Geraldine) Williams, Oneal, Fl., and Joe (Ollie Bell) Williams of White Oak, Ga.; brothers in-law, Arthur, Willie (Ethel), Clifton, Jimmie and Roosevelt Butler, all of White Oak, Ga., and Herman (Shirley) Short, Brunswick, Ga.; sisters in-law, Nora ( Alonza) Gibbs, Irene Butler and Stella Butler, both of White Oak, Ga., Katie Brown and Sheila Butler, both of Woodbine, Ga.; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, two godchildren, Roger Frazier, Kingsland, Ga., and Annie Lee Baker, Woodbine, Ga.; her close friends, Min. Jessie Butler and Janie Bell Walker; nieces, nephews, other cousins and friends.
