Obituary for Denise "Densie" Jackson (Jackson)

Denise “Densie” D. Jackson, 57, of Folkston, Ga. passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Southeast Georgia Health System (Brunswick Campus). She was born on August 03, 1963 to the late, Eugene Frazier, Sr. and Alma Bernice Frazier in Charlton County, Ga. Densie was educated in the public school system of Charlton County graduating in the Class of 1981 where she played on the basketball team, played the clarinet in the band and she also ran track. Densie furthered her education at Jones College and Sanford Brown Medical School where she received her degree as a Medical Assistant and her Certificate of Accreditation, as a Certified Nursing Assistant . Densie loved caring for others. She was a former member of Mt. New Home Missionary Baptist Church and was presently a member of the House of Love Holiness Church under the leadership of Pastor Rhonda Everett-Brown. Her work history includes Community Hospice of Northeast Florida for 10 plus years, Jacksonville Nursing and Rehabilitation and Life Care Center in Hilliard, Florida. Densie was unselfishly giving of her time and efforts to help others. There was always a special place in her heart for her grand babies and she was always there for both, her children and grandchildren. She was loved by everyone that she came in contact with and will forever be remembered and missed for being a loving person.

Densie was preceded in death by both parents, Eugene and Alma Bernice Frazier, Sr.; her brother, Elbert Jackson, her brother in law, Vernon “Red Cap” Watson and a special niece, Trinkell Blake-Washington.

Densie leaves behind her loving children: Felicia Reed, Kingsland, Ga., Keshia Blake, Jamie Jackson, both of Folkston, Ga., Roger McKinnon, Jacksonville, Fl. and Kenesha Townsend (Jordan) of Virginia; her siblings, Freddie (Vandell) Redmon, Shirley Jackson, Wendy (Malachi) Blake and Lisa Frazier (Robert) Woodard, all of Folkston, Ga., Alma Watson and Eugene Frazier, both of Jacksonville, Fl., Lucious (Yolanda) Jackson, Colorado Springs, Co.; her sister in-law, Glenda Jackson, Atlanta, Ga.; 21 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and her close friends, Pamela Brown, Anita Vicks and Eric Hamilton.

There will not be a visitation/wake. There will be a viewing one hour prior to services in the cemetery.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, August 08, 2021 @ 10:00 a.m. in Mt. Carmel Cemetery
