Obituary for Denise Spearman
Denise Dorcell Spearman, 63, of Jesup, Ga. passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Harborview Health Systems. She was born on August 24, 1958 to the late, Mansfield Gibson and Margaret Spearman-Cherry in Dade City, Florida. She was educated in the Southeast High School System in Bradenton, Florida. Denise spent most of her employable years working as a upholstery seamstress. Denise was well loved and she loved her family and friends. She will be missed by all that knew her. She was preceded in death by both parents, Mansfield Gibson and Margaret Spearman-Cherry.
She leaves to cherish her memory: two children, Quiana Love, Jesup, Ga. and Roderick Booker of Bradenton, Fl.; two sisters, Keitha Solomon, Lakeland, Fl. and Ocie (Al) Swilley of Bradenton, Fl.; two aunts, Dora Spearman, Jesup, Ga. and Betty Lowery of Richmond, Va.; three uncles, Gene (Mary) Spearman and Richard Spearman, both of Baxley, Ga. and Earl Spearman of Bradenton, Fl.; her grandchildren, DayShanay (DaQuon) Nixon, Na'Ceidra Mitchell, Cedric Mitchell, Jr., Jeremiah Love, all of Jesup, Ga., Joshua, Jacob, Josiah, Jordan and Mekhi Booker, all of Bradenton, Fl.; her great grandchildren, DaQuon, Jr. and DeMarcus Nixon of Jesup, Ga.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A walk thru viewing will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Royal Funeral Home Chapel, 247 W. Pine Street, Jesup, Ga. from 4-6 p.m.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Old Field Memorial Cemetery, 117 Old Field Cemetery Rd., Baxley, Ga. 31513. Remains will be viewed from 12 noon until the time of service.
Everyone planning to attend either event is asked to please wear your mask and be mindful of Covid-19 precautionary measures to aid in the prevention of spreading the virus.
