Obituary for Eleanor Gordon (Fullmore)

Eleanor Gordon was born September 10, 1939 to the late Robert M. and Amanda Fullmore in Madray Springs, Georgia. She departed this life on Monday, March 14, 2022 in Wayne Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loved ones after a short illness.

Eleanor was united in marriage to Levan Gordon on May 2, 1985. She was a loyal and faithful member of Bethlehem Temple serving as President of the Usher Board and Treasurer of Christian Women. She retired from ResCare HomeCare. She was also employed as a sewing machine operator at Ashley Manufacture and Wayne Line. She was blessed with 4 children. She was preceded in death by 1 child, Barry DeWayne Tennant and has 3 living children.

Eleanor leaves to cherish her memory: three (3) daughters, Elizabeth (the Late Jesse) Evans, Melba (Ronald) Green of Jesup, Georgia, and Minister LaShonda (Charles) Brunson of Cobbtown, Georgia; three (3) sisters, Earlene Fullmore of Jesup, Georgia, Pauline (Charles) Carter of Baxley, Georgia and Betty Nasser of Atlanta, Georgia; one (1) brother, Robert (Hattie) Fullmore of Tulsa, Arizona; 15 (fifteen) grandchildren, Patricia (Thomas) Nix of Grand Island, Florida, Lucille Troup, Randy Jones, Jess Malik Evans, Ronald Reshawn Green, all of Jesup, Georgia, NaTasha Green of Las Vegas, Nevada; Temika Green of Sanford, Florida; Barry Jones of Pooler, Georgia; David (Jessica) Jones of Knightdale, North Carolina, Star Darrien (Rodney Hobbs), Daniel Darrien (Shantel Coen), Phylistity Darrien, Kiiyomii Darrien, Ronzo Brunson Jr and Imaje Brunson, all of Metter, Georgia. To carry her legacy on, she leaves 39 great-grandchildren, 21 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A walk thru viewing will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Greater Bethlehem Temple Church, 200 Walker Street, Jesup, GA 31546.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 @ 3:00 p.m. at Odum Cemetery, 735 Tillman Street, Odum, Ga. 31555
