Elizabeth Ann Jones was born on December 22, 1952 in Miami, Florida. She attended Northside School in Jesup, Georgia through the 8th grade and Elyria High School in Elyria, Ohio, where she graduated. She received an Associates Degree in Accounting and her Master Cosmetology License in Elyria, Ohio. Ann was self employed as a Master Cosmetologist for over 40 years.
Elizabeth passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonzennia McRae, Marion McRae and Norman Jenkins, Sr.; sister, Sharlene Trice and brother Eugene Jenkins.
She leaves to cherish her memories her children Lysander McGill (Torrone) Jesup, GA, Andy Jones, Jr. (Anna) Jesup, GA, Tanisha Towns, Jesup, GA, and two nephews that she loved as sons, Marcus Trice (Stephanie) Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and Terrence Trice(Shakaquita) Jesup, GA; Grandchildren, Andrew Bryant, Andrea Bryant, Kanisha Jordan, Anesia Jones, Indy Jones, Honesty Griffin, T.Y. McGill, Rania Towns and Mariah Fullmore; a host of Great Grandchildren; sister, Jacqueline Rubiano, Miami, Florida; brothers, Norman Jenkins, Jesup, GA, Gary McRae, Goshen, Indiana, Earl West (Betty) Gardi, GA, and Mitchell Jenkins (Linda) Atlanta, GA; aunts, Lettie Drummer, Jesup, GA, Lucille Wade (Ernest) Dublin, GA and Gwen Isom, Hazelhurst, GA; uncle, Bishop Arthur Green (Havannah) Jesup, GA; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, clients and friends that she loved dearly.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 11, 2021 @ 1:00 p.m., at Sunset Oaks Memorial Cemetery, 1570 Sunset Blvd., Jesup, GA.
