Obituary for Geraldine Hamilton (Robinson)
Geraldine Robinson Hamilton, 70, of Kingsland, Ga. passed away on April 06, 2024 following a brief illness. She was born on November 21, 1953 to the late, Herbert and Onnedda Williams-Robinson in St. Marys, Ga. Geraldine was a member of Wheeler Street Church of God and was educated in the public school system of Ralph J. Bunch. She was employed with the Camden County Board of Education where she worked as a custodian for (22) years before retiring in May of 2008.
Geraldine was preceded in death by both parents, Herbert and Onnedda Robinson; ex-husband, James Hamilton, Jr.; and her siblings, JaVan Robinson, Curtis Robinson, Brownie Williams, Thomas Robinson, Benny Robinson and her grandson, Eymanuel Lookadoo.
She leaves to mourn her passing: her loving children, Troy (Cammie) Hamilton, Michelle (Emanuel) Lookadoo and Gerlanda (Wallace) Hamilton; her siblings, Alton Robinson, Wilford (Delores) Robinson, Darnell Robinson, Sheila Robinson, Dottie May Robinson, Leodis (Mary) Mitchell, Ray Robinson, Onnedda Key, FloRutha Robinson, Tamara Robinson, Athea Robinson; a host of grandchildren; great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends, Earnesta Washington, Mary Christie, Marla Bacon, Dawn Eggleston and Cynthia Butler, all who will miss her dearly.
Funeral services will be held on April 20, 2024 at Wheeler Street Church of God, 900 Wheeler Street, St. Marys, Ga. 31558. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Marys, GA.
