Obituary for Iona Boston (Francis)

Mrs. Iona O. Francis Boston, daughter of Mrs. Wilhemenia
Francis and the late Mr. George Francis, was born on April
15, 1953. On Friday, July 5, 2019, God in His innite wisdom,
called Iona to eternal rest.

Iona accepted the Lord as her personal Savior at an early age.
She attended school in the Glynn County School System and
graduated from Glynn Academy in 1971.
She was employed as a unit clerk at Wayne Memorial Hospital,
Jesup, Georgia for 37 years.

For all who knew her, they knew she was a sweet, loving person
who adored her children, her grandchildren and her great-
grandson. Her smile was infectious. She was the epitome of a
Proverbs 31 woman. Her family ask that Iona is remembered
with fond memories of laughter and not with tears and sadness.

Iona was preceded in death by her father, Mr. George Francis
and her sister, Mrs. Dorothy Palmer.

Iona leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Larry Boston
of Screven, GA; her loving and devoted children, Tamika Bess-
omas of Brunswick, GA and Christopher Bess of Screven,
