Obituary for Jack Small Jr.
Jack Jerome Small Jr. was born on March 21, 1952 in Camden County, Georgia to Jack and Marquerita Chance-
Small, Sr. He attended Ralph Bunch High School in Woodbine, Ga. Upon graduation, Jack attended Savannah State Technical College in Savannah, Ga. where he pursued a career in automotive mechanics. After graduating, he obtained employment with Sears and Roebuck Department Store in their automotive department in Bronx, NY. During his free time, he enjoyed working at the recreational center and deep sea fishing with his nephew, Derek, and attending church with his sister, Wendy.
Jack departed this life on November 23, 2021 at his residence. He was preceded in death by both parents, Jack and Marquerita Small, Sr.; a sister, Gracie Life, a brother, Otis Small and grandchildren, David S. Small, Ethan and Malane Cherry (twins).
He leaves to mourn and cherish his memories, two daughters, Sandra D. (Darius) Small-Bailey and Jackie S. Cherry; his grandchildren, JaQuan Small Bevan, Madirah J. Small, Jhamil A. Small, Shalyn Small, Nathaniel Cherry, Jr., Takese Thomas Pierre Cherry, Zachary Cherry, Rasir, Ryan Cherry; nine siblings, Jacqueline (Harry) Colsby, Alma Walther, Henrietta (Buster) Lee, Wendy (David) Ramos, Saundra Flemings, Eugene (Ella) Small, Bobby Small, Reuben Small, Edward (Casey) Small; Great Aunts, Sarah Small, Louise Small, Mildred Small and Iona Small; and a host of other dear relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 @ 11:00 a.m., at the Clinch Chapel Cemetery, White Oak, Ga.
Everyone planning to attend services are asked to wear your mask to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
