Obituary for Jacquelyn Anderson (Freeman)
Jacquelyn Burnette Freeman Anderson, 67, of Jesup, Ga. passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Signature Healthcare in Savannah, Ga. following a lengthy illness. She was born on May 4, 1956 in Jesup, Ga. to the late, Lorine Freeman and Herman Williams. Jacquelyn was educated in the Wayne County School System and worked in the service industry for most of her employable years. She was united in holy matrimony to Larry J. Anderson in 1978.
Jacquelyn was preceded in death by both parents, Herman Williams and Lorine Freeman and her sister, Gloria King.
She is survived by her husband, Larry J. Anderson; five children, Leondre Freeman, Shatorra Anderson (Jonathan Daniels), Ebony Anderson, Miracle Miller (Jackie) and Malik (Jasmine) Anderson; (10) grandchildren; two sisters, Rose Alice Freeman and Jennifer Latson; two brothers, Joseph Freeman and James Freeman; her favorite niece, Macheala (Tim) Sanchious; her uncle, Eddie Freeman; her aunt Gwendolyn Freeman and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss her dearly. Jacquelyn was loved much and will forever remain in our hearts.
A funeral service will NOT be held, however there will be a release of lanterns in memory of Jacquelyn at Cracker Williams Park, 245 E. Bay Street, Jesup, Ga. 31545 @ 6;00 PM on Saturday, September 30, 2023. Family and friends are invited to attend.
There will be a private disposition.
