Jaequad Bomani Smith, 22, of Kingsland, Ga., passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2020, at UF Health Shands in Gainesville, Fl. He was born on January 9, 1998, to April Marie Houston-Sirmons and Henry Lee Smith, Jr., in Gainesville, Fl. Jaequad was educated in the public school system of Camden County and Brantley County, where he participated in the sports of football and wrestling. He graduated from Brantley County High School in the Class of 2017. Jaequad was a member of the House of Love Holiness Church, where he joined under the leadership of the late, Bishop Vandell Milton, which is now lead by Dr. Rhonda Brown. He was employed with Foodie'J Inc., a food processing company in Kingsland, Ga. Everyone that knew Jaequad, knew that he was a big Florida Gators Fan and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Those left to cherish his memory: his loving mother, April (Hashawn) Sirmons; his loving father, Henry Lee Smith, Jr.; his siblings, Sy'mia Sirmons, Nickolas Sirmons, Caleb Lee (Kinesy) Smith, Ezekiel Smith, Omar Lewis, Lexus Waters; his grandparents, Henry Lee (Artie Carol) Smith, Sr., Ronnie Smith and Rosemary Smith; his girlfriend, Brionna Donat and their unborn child; as well as, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that will miss him dearly.
A viewing will be held on Friday, August 14, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00p.m., at Royal Funeral Home Chapel, 247 W. Pine Street, Jesup, Ga. 31545.
A graveside will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2020 @ 9:00 a.m., at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Folkston, Ga.
