Obituary for Jason Munford
Jason Phillip Douglas Munford, 28, of Jesup, Ga., passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at Wayne Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 12, 1992, to Patricia and Phillip Munford, Sr., in Springfield, Mass. Jason was educated in the public school system of Wayne County and graduated in the Class of 2012, where he played football. Jason was a loving young man that would give you his shirt off of his back and had a heart of gold. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending his time with his family and his dog.
Jason was preceded in death by two brothers, Phillip and Christopher Munford.
Survivors include: his loving wife of 4 years, Justice Cierra Roberson-Munford, Jesup, Ga.; his children, Jaiden and Adrianna Munford, Jesup, Ga.; his parents, Phillip and Patricia Munford, Jesup, Ga.; a sister, Latanya Munford, Springfield, Mass.; a brother, Joshua Prterfield, Jesup, Ga.; his mother and father in-law, Franklin and Ramona Roberson, Jesup, Ga.; a special cousin, Allen Hardy, Jesup, Ga.; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss him dearly.
A viewing will be held on Monday, July 27, 2020, from 12 noon until 5 p.m., at Royal Funeral Home Chapel.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 @ 10:00 a.m., at Jesup City Cemetery.
