Jesse Bush, Jr. was born on December 28, 1947 to the late, Mary Louise Presley-Bush and Jessie Bush, Sr. in Bostwick, Florida. He was educated in the public school system of Ludowici, Ga. Jesse owned and operated a cement construction company before becoming a truck driver. He was employed by Bowmont Trucking Company in Savannah, Ga. where he worked until he retired after 45 years of service. On Friday, February 11, 2022 God saw fit to call another soldier from labor to reward. Jesse was preceded in death by both of his parents.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and devoted companion of 20 years, Pauline Jones, Ludowici, Ga.; one son, Romie (Andrea) West, Brunswick, Ga.; two step daughters, Lacrease and Janie Allen, Atlanta, Ga.; three sisters, Hattie Mae Nunelly, Atlanta, Ga., Linda (Curtis) McDuffy, Hinesville, Ga. and Lois Bush of Lakeland, Ga.; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 12 noon at Royal Funeral Home Chapel, 247 W. Pine Street, Jesup, Ga. 31545

A memorial service will be held immediately following the viewing on Saturday @ 12 noon at Royal Funeral Home Chapel followed by cremation as a means of final disposition.
