Jessie Williams, 60, of Jesup, Ga., passed away peacefully on February 7, 2020, at his residence. He was born on January 18, 1960, to the late, L.B. Williams and Verdie Brown-Williams in Wayne County, Ga. Jessie was educated in the public school system of Wayne County and worked most of his life in the construction industry. He was a nice, easy going person that always kept a smile on his face. Jessie was an avid fan of football. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them and he will surely be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by both parents, a daughter, Pamela Williams, and a sister, Alice Tillery

Those left to cherish his memory: Anthony Williams, Hinesville, Ga., LaToya Williams, Jesup, Ga. and Jessica Williams of Odum, Ga.; two brothers, Donald Williams (Sheree), Jesup, Ga. and James Nixon of Savannah, Ga.; four aunts, Ann Brown, Jeanette Wallace and Betty Brown, all of Jesup, Ga., and Pearl Daniels of Atlanta, Ga.; two uncles, Sylvester Brown, Jr., Tybee Island, Ga. and Moses Brown of Jesup, Ga.; Linwood Tillery, Philadelphia, Penn.; ten grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
