Obituary for Joshua Frazier

Joshua Antoine Frazier, 61, of Riverhead, NY passed away on April 8, 2021 at his home. He was born on April 17, 1959 to the late, Willie Frazier, Jr. and Mary C. Cobbs in South Hampton, NY. He grew up and was educated in Tuckahoe, NY. Joshua was employed with Bayberry House and Garden Center where he worked as a landscaper. Joshua enjoyed spending time with his family, playing basketball, gardening and watching television with Star Trek being one of his favorites.

Joshua was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Frazier, Jr. and Mary C. Cobb, his grandparents, James Cobb, Sr. and Sadie Cobb; his mother and father in-law, Earl and Mattie Mays-Bennett.

He leaves to mourn his passing: his wife, Pamela Mays-Frazier, Jesup, Ga.; his three sons, Antoine and Andre Frazier, both of Jesup, Ga. And Edwin Frazier of Napanotch, NY; one brother, Willie Frazier III (Mary), of Riverhead, NY; a close cousin that was like a brother, Tandy Myers (Susan), Riverhead, NY; three sisters, Vickie and Denise Frazier, both of Newport, NC and Sonya Frazier of Atlanta, Ga.; his father and mother in law, Frank Denegal (Dorothy), Savannah, Ga.; three brothers in-law, Terry Mays (Tianna) Surrency, Ga., Tony Mitchner (Dawana) and Lamont Trent of both of Jesup, Ga.; four sisters in-law, Shwanna Trent (David), Jesup, Ga., Tonya Trent, Mastic, NY, Shavonna and Dakia Denegal, both of Savannah, Ga.; his uncle, James Cobb (Dallas) of Islip, NY; five grandchildren, Antoine, Jr., Genesis, Neriah, Taliyah and Andre, Jr.; a best friend, Ron Daniels, Riverhead, NY, as well as, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss him dearly.


A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 19, 2021 @ 11 a.m. at Sunset Oaks Cemetery, 1580 S Blvd, Jesup, Ga.
