Judy Lynette Fuquay-Jackson, 71, of Jesup, GA was born to Earlene and DeWitt Fuquay on February 3, 1952 in Odum, Georgia. She was educated at Wayne County Training School where she excelled and graduated one year early in 1969. Judy was a faithful member of St. John First Born Holiness Church where she served as a Minister, Choir President, Usher Board, Sunday School Teacher, Praise Team and in any capacity where she was needed. She was employed by Dr. Lawrence Bennett, DDS where she started her training and became a certified Dental Lab Technician. She worked for Dr. Bennett for several years before accepting a position at Ft. Stewart Dental Activity where she worked and retired after 33 years of service. Judy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Judy passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earlene and DeWitt Fuquay; her siblings, Sandra Fuquay-Wright and Jacqueline Fuquay-Stovall and her son, Brent Ellis.

She leaves to cherish her memories her son, Brandon Henry; grandchildren, Ryan Ellis and Allen Ellis; two sisters, Fannie (Cornell) Shaw, and Marcia Foster; one brother, Mike (Lorraine) Fuquay; a niece who was raised as a sister, Valerie Fuquay; two aunts, Helen Flowers and Jeanette Fuquay; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.

A viewing will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023 at Royal Funeral Home Chapel from 5-7 pm.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023 @ 2:00 pm at St. John First Born Holiness Church, 386 W. Poplar Street, Jesup, Ga. 31545. Interment in Jesup City Cemetery
