Obituary for Kevin Williams Jr.

Kevin Lamar Williams, Jr., 32, a native of Wayne County, Ga. passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 30, 2022. He was born on March 14,1990 to Kiven Lamar Williams, Sr. and Jeannie Formey Vail in Hinesville, Ga. Kevin was a 2008 graduate of Wayne County High School and a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he served his country proudly for four years. Kevin was a loving, kindhearted young man that was like a ray of sunlight. He never met a stranger and would do anything that he could to help anyone that he could. He was a beloved, son, husband, father, brother and friend.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Burnell Melton Mackey, Johnnie Robert Williams, Sr., Virginia Bryant Vail and his uncle, Johnnie Bryant, Jr.

Those left to cherish his memories: his wife, Melanie Williams, Jesup, Ga.; his children, Travis, Khaliyah and Kingston Williams; his parents, Kiven Lamar (Jenaya L.) Williams, Sr. and Jeannie (Miguel) Vail; his grandmother, Annie Pearl Williams; grandfather, Alvin (Ruth) Formey; his siblings, Brandon (Porcelyn) Williams, Dominic Williams, Demetrius (Tamara) Williams, Alecia, Myesha and Mariah Vail; uncle, Johnnie Robert Williams, Jr.; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends who will miss him tremendously.

There will NOT be a wake/visitation. Remains will lie in state one hour prior to services on Saturday, October 08, 2022 (from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm) at Unity Church of God.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 08, 2022 @ 2:00 pm at Unity Church of God, 1580 South Sunset Blvd., Jesup, Ga. 31545. Services will be followed by Cremation.

Services will be live streamed thru our website at: royalfuneralhomeinc.com for those who are unable to attend. Everyone in attendance is kindly asked to wear your mask to prevent the spread of Covid.
