Obituary for Lettie Drummer (Mungin)

Lettie Lee Mungin Drummer was born on April 08, 1937 to the late, Randolph and Inez Baker Mungin, Sr. in Wayne County, Ga. Lettie received her education in the Wayne County Training School and often spoke of her years in school and being chosen to participate in the homecoming court. Lettie was always full of joy and enjoyed serving, fishing and was a ”Jack of All Trades”. She knew how to do everything and taught her family how to do things that could be costly tasks, such as carpentry, plumbing, gardening and insisted that the family stayed together and in line. Lettie was the Matriarch of the family. At an early age Lettie accepted Christ and became a member of Bennett Union Missionary Baptist Church where she served as an usher for many years until her health would no longer allow her.

Lettie work history was that of being employed with Wayne Line, BE&K Construction Company and her later years was that of a Certified Nursing Assistant and being the best mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend that anyone could ever wish for. Lettie was a very outgoing person and a bright light in everyone’s life that she came in touch with, a true inspiration.
