Obituary for Louise Harvey (Oliver)
Louise Oliver Harvey, 66, of Folkston, Georgia transitioned to be with the Lord on July 26, 2023. Louise was born on August 15, 1956, to the late Rufus and Cora Oliver in Ashburn, Georgia. Louise worked for 16 years at Folkston Park and Care Rehabilitation Center before becoming a supervisor at the Federal Aviation Administration in the janitorial department where she retired after 34 years.
Her biggest joys in life came from spending time with her family. She enjoyed fishing, watching westerns with her husband, cooking, social media, and shopping. Louise had an unwavering faith in God and loved from her soul.
Preceded in death by her father and mother, Rufus and Cora Oliver; a daughter, Crutina Oliver and 16 siblings respectfully.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband of 50 years, John Harvey Jr.; her son, John Harvey III; her daughter, Stephanie (Harvey) Roberson; her grandsons, Antonio Harvey, Mike Manning and Jordan Roberson; her granddaughters, Jennifer (Harvey) Jardine and Kristina Harvey; her great grandsons, Phoenix Jardine and Lyle Jardine; her siblings, Luella (Tina) Stone and Clarence Oliver; as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
There will not be a wake/visitation. Remains will lie in state one hour prior to services on Saturday.
Services will be held August 5, 2023 @ 11:00 am at Mt. New Home Missionary Baptist Church, 426 Dixie Lake Road, Folkston Georgia 31537.
