Obituary for Margaret Tomlinson (Pollock)

Margaret Modesteen Pollock-Tomlinson was born on April 26, 1942 to the late, Elijah “Buck” Pollock, Sr. and Pearl Goodman Pollock in Folkston, Ga. She was educated in the Bethune School for the Colored. Margaret was known among her family and close friends as “Knutt” was well known in the community as a fun loving person that never met a stranger. She could brighten even the cloudiest of days with her infectious personality and smile. She worked most of her life as a homemaker, raising her children, her grandchildren and probably some of your grandchildren. Margaret was a member of St. Matthew Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Ronnie Pollock. Her hobbies included sewing, crafting, reupholstering furniture, decorating and remodeling her home and spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Margaret was united in holy matrimony to Fred Tomlinson on March 4, 2000 and remained so until death parted them, however, he, like so many of us will forever carry her in our hearts.
