Mary Pittman Pierce, 82, of Screven, Ga., passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at her home following a lengthy illness. She was born on March 23, 1937, to the late Mary Rawls and Walter Pittman in Thomasville, Ga. Mary was educated in the Wayne County Training Center and enjoyed canning fruits and vegetables, sewing, fishing, and spending time with her family, She was preceded in death by both parents, Mary and Walter Pittman, and two sons, Walter and Estus Macklin.

Those left to cherish her memories: her children, Leeardis Macklin and Elizabeth Macklin, both of Screven, Ga., Eric Macklin, Miami, Fl., Lanier Macklin (Brenda Stevens), Screven, Ga.; a brother, Eddie Lee Pittman, Sr., Screven, Ga.; two sisters in-law, Vernell Wright, Screven, Ga., and Martha Pittman, Jesup, Ga., and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
