Mary Lee Wilson, 79, a former resident of Jesup, Ga. and current resident of Philadelphia, Pa., passed away on November 01, 2020 at St. Joseph Manor in Meadowbrook, Pa. She was born on July 30, 1941 and was adopted by Janie Walker in Richmond Hill, Ga., where she received her primary education. Mary's job history was that of being a great mother and homemaker to her children, however, she did work periodically with several Hotels in Housekeeping in Philadelphia, and at Wayne Memorial Hospital, as a custodian while living in Jesup, Ga. Her favorite past time was spent with her family and she thoroughly enjoyed reading. Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Janie Walker.
She leaves to mourn her memories: five daughters, Rose Mary Thorpe (Tommy), West Philadelphia, Pa., Gale Williams (Melvin), Jesup, Ga., Alberta Wilson Curry, Jesup, Ga., Loretta Yvette Wilson, West Philadelphia, Pa. and Gwendolyn Wilson (Kevin White), North East Philadelphia, Pa.; one son, Aaron Wilson, Jr., Athens, Ga.; her god daughter, Cynthia Lawton, Philadelphia, Pa.; her close friends, Rosetta Brown and Pat Green; (19) grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, other cousins and friends that will miss her dearly.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2020 @ 3:00 p.m. at Sunset Oaks Memorial Cemetery, 1581 Sunset Blvd., Jesup, Ga.
Everyone in attendance are expected to wear their PPE (Masks) and observe the 6ft. social distancing guidelines set by the CDC and your local health officials.
