Obituary for Michelle King (Sealy)

Michelle was born in Bridgetown, Barbados, on November 25th, 1975, to Michael Sealy and Lilith Lindie. She attended Springer Memorial Secondary School in Barbados and continued her education by earning certifications in areas of her interest. She was a mentor to many and had a special niche for using aromatherapies to help cure the mind-body and soul. Culinary Arts Connoisseur, Antique Collector, and Real Estate Manager, Michelle King’s love of life didn’t come to an end with her death. She brightened this world with unconditional love and compassion and deposited the best pieces of herself into her family and friends. They will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

Michelle Antania King (nee’ Sealy) was an avid reader who loved to cook and had an uncanny appreciation for art and antiques. She loved to travel and spend quality time with her family and friends. She accepted Christ at an early age and continued expanding and sharpening her faith and beliefs throughout her life. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Michelle, like loving her pets, Dino and rex, a quiet evening with friends, and a glass of wine in hand.

On January 10th, 2022, Michelle’s soul was called home. She joined her grandmother, Elise Adelle Sealy, “MaMa,” along with other close relatives in a place of peace. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Anstey King and son, Philip King; Mother, Lilith Lindie, Father, Michael Sealy, Grandmother, Lilith Lindie, brothers (including nieces and nephews), Andrew Scantlebury (Tatiana, Nia), Art Coward (Brandyn, Madison, Kennedy), Michael “Tony” Sealy (Britney, Brandon), Paul Sealy, Shaka Miller (Zirachi), Sean Scantlebury (Sean Jr., Shamar, Telaysia, Shane), Frank Scantlebury (Aniylah, Bradon) and sisters, Paula Mayers, Andrea Coward (Shawnice), Zelinda Scavella (Adiah, Ryan Jr.), Alisha Sealy (Alana, Devin, Demetrius Jr, Aaliyah), and Jessica Scantlebury (Kayoh).
