Nancy Marie Myers was born on November 6, 1962 to Nora Bullard Smith and the late, Dan Henry Griffin in Camden County, Georgia. Nancy received her formal education in both Camden County, Georgia and in Jacksonville, Florida. On April 23, 1982, she was joined in holy matrimony to the love of her life, Thomas C. Myers Jr. This union was blessed with two children and two grandchildren, all of whom, she tremendously loved and cherished. Nancy accepted Christ at an early age.

While admiring all things beautiful, Nancy developed a love for making others beautiful. She continued her education by receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Cosmetology, becoming a Master Cosmetologist from the University of North Florida, in Jacksonville, Florida. Nancy practiced her craft of cosmetology for over 20 years in Camden County and beyond. Nancy also served Camden’s children, as she worked for Camden County Schools Extended Day Program. She was known for her beautiful smile, grace, and calming spirit, and she displayed this in everything that she touched.

Nancy departed this life on Saturday, May 30th. She was preceded in death by her precious daughter, Delicia Chanel Myers, her grandparents, James and Nancy Griffin, and Caesar and Daisy Bullard, who both had a hand in raising young Nancy. She was also preceded in death by her father in law, Thomas C. Myers, Sr. and her loving aunt, Eloise Cohen, who later raised Nancy, as a teen, in Jacksonville, Florida.

A true love story of a lifetime, Nancy leaves to cherish her memories, her devoted husband and love for over 40 years, Thomas C. Myers Jr., her adoring son, Thomas Myers, III and her beautiful spark of life, her daughter, Trinity Chanel Myers.

Her sisters, Ramona Smith, Hinesville, Georgia and Patrice Weston, Woodbine, Georgia. Her brothers, Dan Griffin, Terry Smith (LaWanda), and Walter Wade Smith, of Kingsland, Georgia, and two aunts, Cora Andrews and Vera Bullard, both, also of Kingsland, Georgia.

Raised as extended brothers and sisters in Jacksonville, Florida, by a loving aunt and uncle, Earl and Eloise Cohen, Nancy also leaves cherished memories with Aroma Bullard, King Cohen, Jimmy Alberta, Alfonza Alberta (Colista) Daisy Washington (Ben) Janice Lucas, Joyce Cohen, Mascarene Cohen, Malvenia Wright (Bernard) Mattie Alberta, Folkston, Georgia, Zena Wallace (Ricky) and the late, Baron Cohen, all of Jacksonville, Florida. Nancy also leaves her second loving family, which includes her dear mother in law, Johnnie Ethel Myers, her sister in laws, Carletha Rainey, Cynthia Bailey (Harrell), Sharon Wynn (Moses), Errica Milton, Starlette Reader (John), Carla Myers, and a brother in law, Frederick Myers.

Nancy was loved and cherished by many, including a very special aunt, Barbara Jean Weston. She will be forever cherished and missed by her precious nieces and nephews, her great nephew, and a host of friends, cousins, and anyone who was blessed enough to pass her way.
