Naomi Lucille Cunningham-Hicks was born on
July 20, 1945 to the late Westly Cunningham
and Lucille Lyons-Cunningham, Sr. in Jesup, Ga.
Naomi was educated in the Wayne County Training
School and worked most of her employable years
(29) years at Rayonier and (4) years as a CNA at
Wayne Memorial Hospital. Naomi enjoyed working
in her yard gardening and was a volunteer with the
American Heart Association. Naomi passed away on
Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at her home. She
was preceded in death by both parents, Westley and
Lucille Lyons-Cunningham, Sr.; her husband, Randy
Hicks and three brothers, Westley Cunningham, Jr.,
Monroe Cunningham and Raymond Cunningham.

Survivors include: a sister, Estella Cunningham,
Houston, Tx.; three brothers, Albert J. Cunningham,
Leonard (Alma) Cunningham, Rochester, NY and
Tommie (Barbara) Cunningham, Allenhust, Ga.; an
aunt, Ella Mae Bing, Charlotte, NC; an uncle, Lyen
Bing, Baltimore, Md.; sisters in-law, Olivia Matos,
Jesup, Ga., Lula Jackson, Aiken, SC, Alice Hicks
and Brenda (Ralph) McCormick, SC; close friends,
Essie Mae Nelson, Jesup, Ga.and Ollie Dunham,
Rochester, NY and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins
and friends.
