Nathaniel Pittman, 68, of Screven, Ga. passed away on September 22, 2021 at Harborview Nursing Facility following a lengthy illness. He was born on November 12, 1952 to the late, Clifford Henry Pittman, Sr. and Rose Campbell-Pittman in Screven, Ga. Nathaniel grew up as a child attending First African Baptist Church in Screven, Ga. and was a member of the Class of 1970, graduating at Wayne County High School. His employable years were spent at Wayneline Furniture Company and the remainder was spent farming. Nathaniel was preceded in death by both parents, Clifford and Rose Pittman.
Those left to cherish his memory: three sisters, Essie (Kary) Jenkins, Brunswick, Ga., Cathie Pittman, Hephzibah, Ga. and Carolyn (Rayford) Grant, Screven, Ga.; two brothers, Clifford (Linda) Pittman, San Antonio, Tx. and Harrell Pittman, Screven, Ga.; his aunt, Martha Pittman, Jesup, Ga.; his uncles, Thelois Campbell (Rita Mae), Jesup, Ga. and Eddie Lee Pittman of Screven, Ga.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
There will be a walk thru viewing held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Royal Funeral Home Chapel, 247 W. Pine St., Jesup, Ga. 31545 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Screven Cemetery, Screven Cemetery Road, Screven, Ga. @ 10:00 a.m.
Everyone planning to attend services are asked to wear your mask and adhere to the social distancing guidelines set by the local health dept. and the CDC.
