Min. Ollie L. Darden, 73, of Jesup, Ga. passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021 at Wayne Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. She was born on July 24, 1948 to the late, Oliver and Henrietta James-Lawrence in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She was educated in the public schools of Wayne County and graduated in Wayne County Training School Class of 1966. Ollie was a sweet, loving mother and Nana to everyone. You could find her leading praise and worship service, preaching a sermon or just being that loving Mother of the church, always on the prayer line for anyone who needed her to stand in the gap.
