Paul Beal, 74, of Jesup, GA, departed life peacefully, January 9, 2020, at Memorial University Medical Center after an extended illness. He was born December 21, 1945, to the late Clifford and Birdie Beal, of Odum, GA. Paul was educated in the Wayne County Training School. After graduation, Paul served his country by enlisting in the U.S. Army. He was a lifelong member of Odum Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Paul served as the Chairman of the deacon board, usher board, and finance committee. He was employed by Rayonier Advanced Material of Jesup, GA, until his retirement.
He was united in holy matrimony to the late Janet S. Beal, on December 25,1967, and to this union, two children were born, Torryce James and Anton Ladell Beal.
Paul enjoyed cooking, fishing, gardening and spending time with family and friends. Paul was a loving, caring, hardworking man who loved his family. He had an unforgettable laugh and was adored and loved by all, and will be truly missed.
Paul was preceded in death by both parents, Clifford and Birdie Beal; two brothers, Nathaniel Beal
and Cleveland Beal; two brother in laws, Othia Fuquay and Charlie Tillery.
Survivors include his three sons; Torryce James and Anton Ladell Beal of Jesup, GA; Dale Holmes (Eugenia) of Columbus, SC; three sisters, Jeanette Fuquay of Jesup, GA; Rosa Tillery of Odum, GA; Roberta Cooper (Ben) of Jesup, GA: one brother Richard Beal (Rudine) of Odum, GA; eight grandchildren, Jason, Mikayah, Anton Beal Jr. Deltrice, Teaja ,Shanteria, Myiesha, Ebony; six great grandchildren, Antonio, Aubree ,Bailee, Jayden, Jordan, DeNila; three sister in laws, Apostle Hattie J. Hines, Betty Carol, Joann Beal; very close friends and caregivers, Mary Lee, Joyce Cowan, Gwen Rick, and Della Wilkins; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
