Obituary for Ronald "MANTAN" Brown Jr.
Ronald Lee Brown, Jr. “AKA: MANTAN”, 51, of Jesup, Ga. passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Altamaha Health Center. He was born on May 28, 1972 in Wayne County Ga. Ronald worked most of his life as a truck driver until his health began to fail. He didn’t belong to a particular church but did attend Odum Grove where Rev. Alonzo Wright serves as Pastor. Ronald enjoyed drawing, coloring and writing.
He was preceded in death by both parents, Ronald, Sr. and Janie Brown; a sister, Diane Smith and a brother, Johnny Smith.
Those left to cherish his memory: two sisters, Shirley (Clinton) Crawford and Kiesha Brown, both of Jacksonville, Fl.; a brother, Anthony Brown, Jesup, Ga. and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 02, 2024 @ 11:00 am at Royal Funeral Home Chapel, 247 W. Pine St., Jesup, Ga. followed by a private disposition.
There will not be a wake/visitation on Friday. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the memorial service on Saturday from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.
