Roneisha Shantorya Hutchinson, 29, of Folkston, Georgia passed away on January 6, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones at Emory University Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia after a brief illness. She was born to Rhonda Hutchinson and Sylvester Bailey, III, in Waycross, Georgia on November 15, 1992. She was also reared by her great-grandmother, the late, Ruby L. Barber. Roneisha was educated in the Charlton County School System and attended Greater Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Folkston, Georgia under the leadership of Pastor Van Baker, Sr. Roneisha enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her nieces, Za’Niyla and Kei’Auri. Her passions included going out for walks, dancing, and "rapping along with various lyrics". In addition to her great-grandmother, Roneisha was also preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Sylvester and Johanna Bailey, Sr.
Those left to cherish her memories: her parents, Rhonda Hutchison of Folkston, Ga.; Sylvester “Man” (Robin) Bailey, III of Augusta, Ga.; two sisters, Roteia Hutchinson of Jacksonville, Fl. and Na’Kayia Price of Hilliard, Fl.; four brothers, Shavaunte Harvey of Folkston, Ga., Sylvester “Rocky” Bailey, IV, Yavin Bailey, Sr., and Salvi Bailey, all of Philadelphia, Pa.; Grandparents, Joyce Barber-Houston of Folkston, Ga., Romele Hutchinson of Philadelphia, Pa., Sylvester “Sugar Ray” Bailey, Jr. of Folkston, Ga., and Shirley Mcloud of Philadelphia, Pa.; Great-Grandparents, Gary and Gloria Sherman of Fernandina Beach, Fl.; three aunts, Tera Hutchinson of Ludowici, Ga., Pheobe (Terry) Walker and Tia Bailey both of Philadelphia, Pa. and Tonya Bailey of Kingsland, Ga.; two uncles, Robert Maxwell and Jamal Hutchinson, both of Folkston, Ga., two nieces, Za’Niyla Jackson and Kei’Auri Boger; one nephew, Yavin Bailey, Jr., as well as, a host of great aunts and great uncles, cousins and friends who will miss her dearly.
There will not be a wake/visitation.
Viewing of remains will be 1 hour prior to the services (10 am until 11 am) on Saturday, January 15, 2022.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 @ 11:00 a.m. at Bailey Cemetery, Mt. Carmel Cemetery Road, Folkston, Ga.
