Obituary for Roshanda Hamilton
Roshanda Nichole Hamilton, 40, of Woodbine, Ga. passed away on Monday, September 04, 2023 at Baptist Medical Center Downtown, Jacksonville, Fl. Roshanda was born on July 23, 1983 in Brunswick, Ga. to Ernest and Delores Walker Hamilton. She was a graduate of Camden County High School in the Class of 2005.
Roshanda was a delight to be around, and she loved her family, and they simply adored her. She lived her life to the fullest of her ability and smiled through the hardest of times concerning her illness. She knew that she had the support and love that she needed to survive the toughest of times. Her personality would light up any room. Roshanda will forever be in the hearts of her family and those that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Gladys Hamilton, Roberta Singleton and Alfred Rudolph, as well as three uncles and an aunt.
Those left to cherish her memories: her loving and devoted parents, Ernest and Delores Hamilton; her caring and supportive sister, Christina (John) Dunlap; two nephews, Dominik and Diego Dunlap; her loving godparents, Joseph (Tres) Hamilton, Sr.; her god brother, Mekhi Parker; her two special cousins, Ashley Lewis and Lexus Charles and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who have supported her and her family throughout the years.
There will NOT be a wake/visitation. Remains will lie in state one hour prior to services on Saturday, September 09, 2023 from 10 am until 11am.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 09, 2023 @ 11:00 am at Woodbine United Methodist Church, 405 Bedell Avenue, Woodbine, Ga. 31569 Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, White Oak, Ga.
