Obituary for Rosine Johnson (Curry)

Ms. Rosine C. Johnson, 77, of Jesup, Ga., passed away on Friday, September 27, 2019, at her residence, following a lengthy illness. She was born on December 20, 1941, to the late Taylor Curry and Alberta Brown-Curry in Macon, Ga. She spent the most of her younger years of life living in Detroit, Michigan, and later retired and relocated to Jesup, Ga. Rosine was also employed with Wayne Line Furniture Manufacturer until her health began to fail.

She was preceded in death by both parents, six brothers, and two sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory: one sister, Irene Roberts, Jesup, Ga.; her daughter, Arlene (Anthony) Parker, Atlanta, Ga.; her grandchildren, Angela (Gerald) Fasion, Snellville, Ga., April (Rico) Reese, Powder Springs, Ga., Amanda Parker, Lawrenceville, Ga., Anthony Parker, Jr., Atlanta, Ga.; her great grandchildren, Lalia and Malia Fasion, Rico, Jr. and Jamal Reese; her nieces, Aline Roberts (Carnell) and Patricia Roberts, both of Jesup, Ga.; her nephews, Ricky (Alvera) Roberts, Jesup, Ga., Willie J. (Kyong) Roberts, Killeen, Tx. and Anthony (Frances) Ervin, Stone Mountain, Ga.; her first cousin, Bernard (Ida Mae) Curry, Jesup, Ga. and a host of other relatives and friends.
