Obituary for Roy Curry

Roy Curry was born on November 28, 1956, in Odum, GA, to the late Remer and Inez Curry. Roy passed away suddenly on December 3, 2019, at the tender age of 63. Roy attended Wayne County public schools. He later met and married the love of his life, Leola Annette Baldwin of Brunswick, GA.

Roy was a faithful and dedicated employee at Georgia Pacific Sawmill for nineteen years, he later ventured further in his employment career and became a heavy equipment operator. Roy was working at Coastal Industrial Company, at the time God called him home to rest.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Remer and Inez Curry, a sister Murtle Turner, two brothers, Neal Curry and Gary Hall.

He leaves many precious memories to be cherished by his loving wife of 38 years, Mrs. Annette Curry, four devoted children, Genell Fuller, Jesup, GA, Taiwana (Michael) Johnson and Andrey (Christina) Curry, both of Brunswick, GA, and Kermira Curry, Killeen, TX; nine grandchildren, Malik Williams, Armond Fuller, Na'Tori Hall, Maliyah Hall, DreShaun Curry, Ja'Mikel Curry, Sa'mira Curry, Gabriella Curry, and Michael Johnson, Jr.; twelve siblings, Dorothy Fitzgerald, Barbara Bagley, Rita White, Evelyn Curry, all of Rochester, NY, Laverne Grant, Doris (Steve) Stanley, Adrian Curry, Anthony (Patricia) Fuller, Adolph (Paulette) Fuller, Ken (Sierra) Fuller, all of Jesup, GA, Raymond (Minnie) Moore, Santee, SC, and Bobby (Diana) Turner, Kissimmee, FL; two aunts, Kathleen Hall, Statesboro, GA, and Irene Hall, Montgomery, AL; one special niece, Jennifer Grant; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
