Saint Clair Miller, Jr., was born on April 17, 1934, to the late Saint Clair Miller, Sr. and Shellie McCoy- Miller, in Claxton, Ga. He was educated in the public school system of Claxton, Ga. Saint Clair worked most of his adult life for Southern Bell Phone Company as a contract truck driving and mechanic, as well as, for Needer Construction Company. He was an A1 mechanic and enjoyed repairing vehicles and spending time with his family before his health began to fail.
The Lord saw that Saint Clair had grown weary of this old world and called him home to be with Him on Sunday, November 10, 2019, at his residence surrounded by his loving wife and family.
He was preceded in death by both parents, Saint Clair, Sr. and Shellie McCoy-Miller; his son, Al Miller, Sr., a sister, Viola Hall, and a brother in-law, Joe Hamilton.
Those left to cherish his memory: his loving wife of 50 years, Lucille Walcott-Miller; his children, Daniel Miller, Shirley Ann Miller, Elizabeth Murray (Michael), Cynthia Elmore (Joseph), Don Walker, Janice Moody (Jamie), Ray Odum, Collatta Fields, Deanna Hinton (Richard), and Jaronda Miller-Bryant (Leo); his siblings, Martha Mae Jackson (Robert), Betty Hamilton (Joe); sister in-law, Norma Miller; his brother in-law, David Hall; special friends of the family, Ronnie Walcott, Dora Walcott, Dorothy Miller and David Cooper; and a host of grandchildren, great-grands children, nieces, nephew and other friends.
