Obituary for Sharon Fullmore (Jernigan)

Sharon Jernigan-Fullmore was born December 14, 1979, in Alma, Ga., to William Jernigan and the late, Mother Betty Jernigan. She received her former education in the St. Johns and Putnam County Public School Systems. Sharon accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age. Sharon was a dedicated mother and had a great love for her husband, children, and family. Her interest was cooking, entertaining people with her stories, talking, laughing, and spending time with her family. She was a strong woman, a warrior that fought a good fight, and a great inspiration to so many. Sis. Sharon will be remembered for her joking, radiant smile, caring and loving heart. On February 23, 2020, Sharon went home to be with the Lord, after a lengthy illness, while surrounded by her loving family and friends at Memorial Health Medical Center in Savannah Georgia. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jernigan.

Sharon was formerly married to Eric Jenkins, Sr. of Screven, Ga., and to this union, she gave birth to her beautiful children. After her marriage to Eric was dissolved, she met and was united in holy matrimony to Albert Fullmore, of Jesup, Ga.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving and caring husband, and father to her children, Albert Fullmore of Jesup, Ga; three loving daughters, Jasmine Smith (Dom), of Pittsburgh, PA; Shytianna Jernigan (Travis), and Kenyatta Jenkins, of Jesup, Ga., and one son, Eric Jenkins Jr. ( A’lize) of Jesup, Ga; one grandchild, Zech-ariah Jenkins; her father, William Jernigan; five sisters, Karla King, Rosa Jernigan, Maria Brown (Charles), all of Folkston, Ga.; Barbara Lee (Marcellus) of Brunswick, Ga. and Lakisha Jernigan, of Jesup, Ga.; one brother; John Jernigan (Ingram) of Folkston, Ga.; one aunt, Mamie Jenkins of Vila Rica, Ga.; her uncle, Tommy Bennett; her god children, Canaire Allen, Kalijah and Jalijah Pittman; special cousins/friends, Brenda Walthour, Shafonda Walker, Cynthia Bryant, and Kristy Pittman; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
