Thomas "Chad" Mathis, 48, of Brunswick, GA suddenly passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2024. The Wayne County native worked in Logistics for King and Prince Corporation. In his leisure time he loved baseball, basketball, football, golf, and listening to music. His favorite football team was the Pittsburg Steelers, and he was a lifelong fan. He was preceded in death by his mother, Vera Flowers.

Survivors are his father, Thomas Larry Mathis of Brunswick, GA; wife and soulmate since the age of 16, Tammy Shirley Mathis; two sons, Brandon "Scott" Mathis and partner Breonna Blackmon of Lancaster, SC, Cameron "Cam" Alexander Mathis of Brunswick; two grandsons, Gannon and Chandler; and newborn granddaughter, Channon Grace Mathis; several brother and sister-in-laws; multiple nieces and nephews.

The family will be holding a private memorial locally, and a Private Celebration of Life Service in Lancaster, SC.
